Rescuing food… to rescue college students going hungry

The joke of “starving college students” is, in reality, not funny.  Stretched by ever-rising tuition, many college students often miss meals simply because they can’t afford to eat.

Enter Harvard University (and expanding to other campuses) and student volunteers who package up 1,200 meals each week with cafeteria food that would otherwise be dumped.  The meals are then delivered to campus locations where students can pick them up for free — with no questions are asked.
